Milestone.

 I blog a bit. I try to let y’all into my life so you can take this jour­ney with me. Here is the chronol­ogy of my blog­ging. I started in 2002 on a hand me down mac. The one with the han­dle on top that spit a cd out in front, came in all col­ors… Mine was a turquoise color. I found a match­ing sewing table at a thrift store there was just enough room for the com­puter and a key­board and a few hello kitty sta­tion­ary items. Well that was my “office” for a cou­ple years then I started to travel in 2005. I mildly kept up my blog. Here and there as events unfolded. Over this period, slowly ramp­ing up to tak­ing it seri­ously a year and a half ago. Then blog­ging hap­pened from a couch or a cafe or a kitchen table, mostly from bed. Mostly a lap­top on my stom­ach and a neck ache when fin­ished. FINALLY, this past week­end. I bought my first brand new desk. Ikea. All $100 worth. I have a swivel chair too. It swivels and every­thing. Not to brag but there’s lum­bar sup­port : ) I have an desk, ahem, an office, it’s offi­cial. Please direct all mail to my new head­quar­ters cause it has a desk to land on. Haha this may seem so bor­ing and triv­ial but the moment holds spe­cial mean­ing. Per­haps it is a sign of tak­ing “our rela­tion­ship” (as blog­ger and reader) to the next level. Per­haps it feels good that I “belong” in that chair. Maybe it feels good that those items belong to me. What­ever the cause, what­ever the effect… It’s a mile­stone for me.
