Another wonderful show. I am so happy to bring my music to folks who have never heard it before. What a perfect thing to do on the release of a record. Last night the boys invited me up to Adam’s penthouse room at 21C, a posh hotel meets museum in Louisville, KY to celebrate. There was fantastic art everywhere, I was so inspired. There was a brilliant view of the water from a sprawling rooftop garden. I fell asleep watching this moving PBS documentary about the CCC, the first environmentalism movement started back in the Roosevelt administration. It was a beautiful, funny, mellow night to cap the debut of my record.
At the elevator there was an interactive installment of falling poetry. Adam caught me playing in the black and white projection with my flip cam. The internet on the bus is slow, i’ll have to post the clip later.
